Biography

While her background was originally accounting, when Kip joined Deyo-Fawcett Insurance Services, she discovered insurance and its coupling with the automation industry. The rest is history. She discovered an affinity for the combination. She was lured away from the agency with thoughts of educating others on the AMS systems.

While with AMS, she was a field trainer based in North Carolina for many years. However, this did not keep her away from the rest of the country since she literally traveled border to border and coast to coast in that position. From there she was brought into the AMS home office in Windsor, CT where she was responsible for the training of other field trainers on AfW and Microsoft products in her new role as Director of Education for the Training Department.

After several years with AMS, Kip moved to The AMS Users' Group in 1998 as their Senior System Specialist. During that time she participated on the R&D committees for AMS360, AfW, Rating and PS4. She was also a member of the AMS360, AfW and National Education Committees.

At the Users’ Group, Kip helped re-write some of the core material as well as create new material for the local Chapters. In her spare time, over the years, Kip has made presentations to Chapters across the country. She still travels across the country giving presentations on a variety of topics as well as participating at National Conference.

As an independent consultant since 2004, Kip has more time to devote to training and education at the agency level. She is knowledgeable on both AfW and AMS360 programs. She has been teaching these systems at Chapter Meetings for years, as well as participating on the AMS360 R&D Committee, which keeps her on the leading edge. With this version now in production, Kip is ready to lead agencies to a more successful transition into this powerful new tool.
